Christian Bale Says A Terrifying Scream He Requested For THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER Was Cut From The Movie

when Christian Bale joined Marvel Thor: Love and thunder like Gorr the God Butcher, he made a request. There is a scene from an experimental music video called “Come to Daddy” created by Aphex Twin and in it is a scream that he wanted to replicate for his character. That scream is pretty damn terrifying, and in the end Marvel ended up cutting it out of the movie.

Bale shared this information with ScreenRant saying:

“I only had one absolute request, which was to refer to Aphex Twin’s ‘Come to Daddy’ video. There is a character in it that inspired me about Gorr, and I said to Taika, “Here’s the deal, I want to have the scream.” And if you see the video, you will understand what I mean. I said, ‘I want to have that scream in the movie.’

“And I understand, but that agreement has not been kept. Because it was, again, something a little too extreme, perhaps for the PG-13. She could have had people running for the exits. But we did, and it’s somewhere on the editing room floor. “

How disgusting! It looks like a deal was actually reached and they told Bale they would put the scream in the movie, but they ultimately decided not to include it, which is a shame. I would have loved to have seen him in the movie!

I have included a screenshot of the scream from the music video which you can see below. I have also included the music video for those of you who want to watch it. The moment of the scream starts at 4:15 in the video. It is absolutely nightmare!

Bale’s Gorr The Godbutcher is already terrifying, but this scream would take that terror to a new level. While Bale says he understands why they cut it, I don’t understand. After all, he looks at what they did with Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness! If they were willing to put all that stuff into the movie, how weren’t they willing to put this scream in it?
