Crunchyroll and Toei Animation have announced that they will bring the next one One piece film: red in theaters in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand this fall both dubbed and subtitled. This will be the 15th film in the series and will be a new adventure featuring Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as the film delves into the mysterious character Shanks. Here is the official synopsis:
Uta: the most loved singer in the world. Famous for hiding her identity during the execution, her voice has been described as “otherworldly”. Now, for the first time ever, Uta will reveal himself to the world in a live concert. As the venue fills with all kinds of excited Uta-pirate fans, the Navy watching closely and the Straw Hats led by Luffy who just came to enjoy her sonic performance – the voice the whole world was waiting for is about to ring out. The story begins with the shocking fact that she is Shanks’ daughter.
To celebrate this release, Anime Expo 2022 in Los Angeles, California will have a series of special events hosted by Toei Animation that will include an exclusive one-night music event featuring a two-time Grammy-nominated artist. Steve Aoki”One Piece Film Red Presents Steve Aoki Live” and “Toei Animation Presents One Piece Film Red Panel” with One Piece Producer Shinji Shimizu and, from the English dub, actors Brandon Potter (“Shanks”) and Ian Sinclair (“Brook”) and Director of ADR Antonio Bowling.
