Giorgio Miller is currently shooting his long-awaited film Mad Max: Furiousand previously we shared some photos from the set. The film serves as a prequel to Mad Max: Fury Roadand will focus on a young version of Furiosa, played by Anya Taylor-Joy.
The film is also the protagonist Chris Hemsworth who plays a character named Dementus, the villain of the story, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II even stars. Not much is known about the story the film will tell, but that changed today when a summary of the film’s plot was released! So, here are the first details of the first story of the film:
With the fall of the world, young Furiosa is kidnapped from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a large Horde of Bikers led by Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. As the two Tyrants battle for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
I have no doubt that this movie will have the big, crazy epic blast action that is expected of these Crazy Max franchise film! I am so excited to watch this movie!
Miller has already talked about the film, saying, “I’ll tell you how it’s going when it’s finished, but it started off well. All I can say about my excitement in doing it is that it’s definitely exciting, because even though it’s certainly from that world of. Road of Fury, it also has many of the differences we talked about. Again, it’s extraordinarily familiar. And probably the biggest difference is the time frame. Road of Fury it happened in three days and two nights and this happens in 15 years. So, it’s a saga. “
When previously talking about making a film about Furiosa Miller said: “Yeah, he’s a pretty compelling character, so it would be great to tell his story. His backstory is really interesting.
