One of the most exciting aspects of Lucasfilm Obi-Wan Kenobi the series was seeing Ewan McGregor And Hayden Christensen reunite after all these years as Kenobi and Darth Vader. Unfortunately, as the series has moved on, it has been rather underwhelming. While there are aspects of the show that I enjoy, I have a lot of problems with writing and a lack of common sense.
Regardless of what I think, I know there are a lot of people out there who love every minute of it. It could have been so much better. After each episode, I review a few episodes of The wars of the clonesespecially in the last season, and it just occurs to me how superior the writing and the story are. Obi-Wan Kenobi does not even come close. It’s a shame.
Anyway, I have a fun video here to watch today that shows Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen getting together to share some of their favorite moments from their time together in the Star Wars franchise.
Christensen said: “I remember my first take in the film. My first time working with you [Ewan]. Taking the lightsaber for the first time. So many good memories, it’s hard to choose a favorite ”.
McGregor shared: “I have good memories. It was so good to get back to it. Before starting to shoot, we trained a lot to fight and we tried. “
Christensen later raised the iconic fighting scene in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, saying their fight was the most fun he had while filming: “Obviously when we got to Episode III and we had our big fight against each other, that was the most fun for me. I think we took it very seriously too. We were having so much fun, but it was really intense and rewarding. “
