Oscar and Emmy winning actress Nicole Kidman (The hours, Little big lies) signed to star and produce the thriller Holland, Michiganwith Cave of Mimi (Fresh) set to direct from a script written by Andrea Sodroski (Manhunt). The film arrived on Amazon after the script topped the 2013 Black List. The story “involves the secrets behind a Midwestern town with a Hitchcock leaning”.
This will be the most recent collaboration for Kidman and Amazon since Kidman starred in Amazon’s Being the Ricardos in the role of Lucille Ball, a role that earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress, a Golden Globe Award for Best Drama Actress and a SAG nomination. She the actress is also starring and producing the Amazon drama series expatriates.
I’m a fan of almost everything Kidman does with boards these days and can’t wait for this movie project to come along.
