After Blade 3 was released in 2004, Wesley Snipe wanted to continue the franchise with a fourth film. In an effort to make it happen, he and his team wrote two scripts for Blade 4! Obviously, the film was never made, but those scripts have since been reintroduced for other film projects.

Snipes recently shared in an interview with CB: “We actually wrote two scripts. We have two versions of a story that would fit well into the story. Lama world. But since we didn’t go that route and no more knocking on the door, we changed them and now use them for something else. So I got two Lama murderers “.

I would be really very curious to see where they would get the story for Snipes’ Lama in a fourth film, but it looks like we’ll never know. The actor also revealed that he was never approached Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios to discuss the character or return to the franchise, which has now been restarted Mahershala Ali in the lead role.

Snipes previously talked about Ali being cast in the role saying, “We talked. The issue of his being cast wasn’t between us, that’s fine by me. I’m not hanging around like Blade, so I’m not attached to the character in. I don’t feel any emotional loss, zero, and I’m happy it’s rephrased and will most likely do a great job.

I liked the Lama films made by Snipes. The third wasn’t the greatest, but when I looked at it Ryan Reynolds in that movie, I said to myself, “This guy needs to be Deadpool!”
