by Lucasfilm Obi-Wan Kenobi completed its six-episode run, and fan reaction was mixed. Some people love it and say it’s the best thing ever, while others, like me, think it should have been so much better. Ultimately, the series was planned as a limited series in its own right with no plans for a second season. But, as you can imagine, Ewan McGregor And Hayden Christensen I would like to do a season 2.
McGregor told British GQ: “I really hope we do another one. If I could do one of these every now and then, I’d be happy with it.
Christensen told Radio Times: “Well, it was definitely designed as a story in its own right. But I’d like to continue with this character. You know, I think there is definitely more to explore and I would be so excited to be able to … I would certainly be open to [returning for ‘Obi-Wan’ Season 2]. “
There is certainly room to continue the story, but the director Debora Chow and manufacturer Catherine Kennedy not so sure to continue.
Chow recently told Entertainment Tonight: “For this one, we really designed it as a limited series. It’s a really great story with a beginning, a middle and an end. So, we weren’t thinking further. I think, you know, if were to go on, it would only be if there was a real reason for another.
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy told ET, “Well, frankly, we decided to do it as a limited series. But I think if there is a lot of involvement and people really want more Obi-Wan, we will definitely consider it because the fans are talking to us. And if we feel like, ‘OK, there’s a real reason to do it; is to answer why then, ‘then we will. But we’ll see. “
At the moment, there are no plans for another Kenobi series. If they end up developing another season, I hope they do a better job.
