SEGA has released its first episode of Sonic Origins Speed Layera series dedicated to highlighting the gameplay features of the near future Sonic origins. Sonic originsa game that contains Sonic the hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic CDAnd Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckleswill be released on June 23 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
This episode of Speed Strats will look at all the various modes in the game which include Classic, Anniversary, Story, Boss Rush, Mission and Mirror modes. The video has a great breakdown of each of these, so if you are interested in this game I recommend that you check out the video to get a good idea of everything the game modes have to offer.
I’d probably end up playing anniversary mode for the full 16×9 screen view and because I need the easy infinite lives mode. I’m also very intrigued by the idea that Story Mode links all four games together and includes animated opening and closing cinematics to link the games together. So, whether you’ve been a longtime Sonic fan or new and want to try the classics, this collection of games has something for everyone.
