Germany’s WDR Funkhausorchester, led by conductor Enrico Delamboye, recently performed a fantastic orchestral medley of Super Mario music that brings the nostalgia of the Mushroom Kingdom to life in a whole new way.
Fans who grew up with 8-bit beats can now experience the energy and charm of Mario’s world through the warmth of violins, cellos and brass.
The orchestra has also performed music from Skyrim, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of TimeAND The Big Giana Sistersmaking this concert a celebration of the evolution of video game music from pixels to pure symphony.
