The actor was particularly enthusiastic to work with the director James Watkinswhose horror credentials are profound.
“I saw that movie when he came out, and he deeply influenced me, so I was enthusiastic about receiving that call. I think it’s really a little suitable for it [Clayface]to be honest. If you look at his entire curriculum, he worked in all these different spaces that are equivalent to the film we are making, so I can’t imagine that nobody else does. ”
Minghella specifically indicated Watkins’ chilling thriller 2008 Lake edeninterpreted Michael Fassbenderlike one of his favorites.
At the center of the film is Tom Rhys HarriesWhich takes on the role of Matt Hagen, the second clay of the comics. Hagen is the version that most fans associates with the shape of the character’s mud monster, a horrible power that removes his humanity.
