The Marvel film universe has already brought some of the most legendary comic events to the big screen. Fans saw huge strings like Age of Ultron, Civil war, and the shocking reality Infinity War Form the spine of the narrative of the MCU.
With Avengers: Doomsday AND Avengers: Secret Wars Set up to close the multiverse saga, it is clear that Marvel Studios continues to draw from classic comics while preparing to combine the mutants and X-Men in the main temporal sequence.
This opens the doors to the bold and risky plots to finally be adapted and an MCU star is paying attention to a particularly infamous one.
During a Comiccon panel the whole Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen He clarified that he wants to see one of the most decisive arches of Wanda Maximoff brought to life.
“I think House of M is just the most beautiful. I just think it could be so fun to treat with X-Men and Avengers and” No More Mutants “. It would be fun.”
For those who may not know, House of M was a 2005 Marvel Comics crossover event that launched the universe on the head.
Fighting with pain and mental instability, Wanda deformed reality in a world in which mutants were the dominant species and every hero lived in their ideal life.
The plot ended in one of the most shocking moments in Marvel’s history, with Wanda who pronounced the devastating phrase “no more mutants”, which immediately swept away most of the mutant population and leaving the X-Men who hurry for years.
Adapting House of M in the MCU could be incredibly exciting, even if the times would be difficult. Mutants and X-Men are only introduced to the franchise, then reducing their number before they have been established may not land in the same way in the comics.
However, the concept of Wanda that remodes reality on such an enormous scale seems to be at home in the current narrative led by the Multiverse of Marvel.
Of course, so that the house of M’s happening, Wanda should first return. The witch scarlet was given the last time Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MadnessApparently sacrificing himself by collapsing Mount Wundagore and destroying every copy of the Darkhold.
Many fans, however, are not convinced that it went forever. This speculation has only intensified with Agatha always On Disney+, who reintroduced Wanda’s son Wiccan, played by Joe Locke.
In the same panel as the Comiccon la, Olsen offered a little more fuel to fire when he discussed the future of Marvel.
“I hope we continue to surprise ourselves and the public. I think it is what makes people return, it is not relying on old tricks. So that’s what I hope.”
His use of the word “we” looks like a strong suggestion that has not yet finished with Marvel. If Wanda returns, Marvel has many history options on the table.
Wiccan’s introduction prepares the ground for a possible adaptation of the crusade for children, who followed the search for young Avengers to find and redeem Wanda.
In the meantime, his recent mainly bad role in the Marvel animated Zombies series shows that the character is still one of the favorites between fans and narrators.
It remains to be seen if the Marvel Studios adapts the house of M, but Olsen’s enthusiasm clarifies that it is ready to immerse yourself in the MCU, probably leading to the most powerful and overhaul of Wanda.
