MGM+ has published a new trailer for the adapted series Robin Hoodbased on classical history. The series is interpreted Jack Patten In the role of the title, Lauren McQueen Like Marian, Fagiolo Sean Like Nottingham sheriff, Lydia Peckham As a priscilla of Nottingham, Steven Waddington like the count of Huntingdon, e Connie Nielsen Like Queen Eleanor of the Aquitana.
The show is co-creating and co-disclosed by John Glenn AND Jonathan Englishwith direct episodes from Jonathan English (Nail Vienna, Battleship, The outpost). It is showrun by the writer John Glenn (Eagle Eye, The Lazzaro project).
The synopsis recites: “In the XII century England, the Saxons live under the overwhelming rule of Norman power. Among them there is Robert of Locksley (with Jack Patten), son of a forestry, whose life is shattered when his family is stripped of their ancestral home and his father is executed by the sheriff of Nottingham (co-conducted by Sean Bean).
Given to Longbow, Rob grows from the pain to rebellion, his fate intertwined forever with Marian (co-protagonist Lauren McQueen), a noble woman lacerated between loyalty towards her family and love. As the tensions increase, Rob collects a band of outlaw around him – Men and women with little in common but their Saxon inheritance and the desire to fight tyranny.
“In the Sherwood forest, they take the war against corruption and injustice, attracting the wrath of Sheriff, Barons, Norman royalty.
This is another summary of the story that we have all seen over several times, but it could be good. The cast is solid and seems well done.
