Baywatch tidy up to Fox for autumn 2026 season

Fox announced that they are restarting the series Baywatch For the autumn 2026 season. The show was given a direct series order, with an order of 12 episodes.

Matt Nix will act as a showrunner and executive producer, with Michael Berk, Greg Bonnan, Dante di Loreto and Doug Schwartz also producing. Berk, Bonnan and Schwartz were the creators of the original series. No member of the new or return cast is attached to restart at the moment.

Baywatch Originally debut in 1989 on NBC. He aired for a season on that goal before moving on to the mayor for the rest of his 11 -seasons race, during which he broadcast almost 250 episodes. “Baywatch: Hawaii” was renamed for its last two seasons while the production has moved to the state of the island from California.

The original cast of the beach lifeguard series includes David Hasselhoff Like the Bagnino chief Mitch Buchannon and helped launch stars’ acting careers such as Pamela Anderson, Jason Momoa, Yasmine BleethAND Carmen Electra.

I can’t imagine that there is a huge audience for a Rehashed show like this, but this is what studies are doing these days. It will inevitably be canceled, but for now it is heading towards production.
