An eliminated scene just released, entitled “Birthday Sweater”, gets the spotlight on Ebon Moss-BachrachIt is the thing in a quiet moment with Vanessa KirbyHis storm.
In the clip, Ben and Herbie are making some last minute checks on the Excelsior spaceship when he enters to see how he is holding back. He wears what he proudly calls a “sneiled” birthday sweater, but there is a weight behind his rocky outside. Considering the tragedy linked to the last space flight of the team, it is not difficult to understand why it seems a little down.
The sequence presents unfinished VFX for the thing, giving fans an intriguing look on how the hero always lover is put alive before the final nail polish.
It is the third erased scene revealed by the first steps, following one that introduced Sue’s meeting with Subterranea Mane Man and another who showed her and Reed Richards who takes tenderly for the child Franklin.
Like the others, this scene of the sweater does not drastically change the story, but adds a plot to the dynamics of the character. It is particularly disappointing that Harvey Elder’s moments with the invisible woman did not cut, since their interaction could have added another interesting layer to the film.
