Apple TV+ has released a new trailer forThe lost buswhich is inspired by racching true events of the devastating fire of the 2018 field in California.
The film follows a washed school bus driver, played by Matthew McConaugheywho responds to a desperate call on a police scanner, joins a courageous teacher, played by America FerreraTo evacuate 22 children trapped in a classroom with flames that close quickly.
The film was directed by Paul Greengrass, The lost bus It gives life to the chaos and terror of the most fatal fire in America with intense realism.
Based on Lizzie Johnson’s book Paradiso: the struggle of a city to survive an American fireThe film promises a tense and emotional race while Kevin (McConaughey) and Mary (Ferrera) sail by blocking roads and infuriate the fire to save both the children and Kevin’s son.
“The lost bus It is the history of quiet heroism – of the people who join in front of the unproofable. I am honored to have been entrusted to this story, “said Greengrass on the project.
The critics greeted the film as “an instant classic” and a “celebration of simple heroism, community and overcoming adversities” which “keeps you breathless and on the margins of your place”.
