Hulu published the first trailer for its next limited series Murdaugh: death in the familyand gives us a chilling look Jason Clarke Like Alex Murdaugh, the patriarch of a powerful southern dynasty whose privilege life begins to reveal.
Murdaugh: death in the family It is inspired by the podcast of the murders of Murdaugh and dramatizes the real events surrounding Alex and Maggie Murdaugh, played by Patricia Arquette.
Their apparently enchanted existence begins spiral after their son Paul (played by Johnny BerchTold) is involved in a fatal collapse by boat. While the investigation deepens, a dark network of secrets, scandals and mysterious deaths begins to connect to the Murdaugh family.
The official synopsis reads: “Maggie and Alex enjoy a sumptuous life of privilege as members of one of the most powerful legal dynasties of the South Carolina. But when their son Paul is involved in a collapse of the mortal boat, the family is faced with a test other than what they have ever met.
“As the details come to light and new challenges emerge, the family connections to several mysterious deaths raise questions that threaten everything that Maggie and Alex are held dear. Inspired by the popular Podcast Murdaugh Murders.”
The trailer highlights Clarke Alex’s pension, which randomly drops the line, “is to betray only if you are captured”, underlining its ruthless and morally failed mentality.
The cast also includes Will Harrison, Brittany Snow, J. Smith-Cameron, Gerald McRaneyAND Noah Emmerich.
With its mix of true intrigue of crime, a cast of central and a story torn from the titles, Murdaugh: death in the family It seems to be one of the most compelling dramas of Hulu of the year.
The eight -episode drama, of showrunner Michael D. Fuller and co-creator Erin Lee CarrIt is scheduled for the first time on October 15 with three episodes that fell on the first day. New episodes will be launched every Wednesday, bringing the ending on November 19th.
