Netflix dropped the first trailer for The RIPand is bringing a gritty and high criminal story Matt Damon AND Ben Affleck Go back to the screen together. It looks like a big and tense police thriller that will keep the audience at the limit!
The teaser kicks off with Damon and Affleck while Miami’s police officers stumble on a massive $ 20 million in a ruined house occupied by The flash star Sasha Calle.
What begins as a discovery quickly transforms into temptation when Damon’s character jokes, “it would be much easier if we had just stolen this money”. Spiral things when the Affleck officer receives a call from a masked voice that they feel to eliminate before someone is killed.
From there, the trailer increases paranoia, at every look and every decision that pulls the characters of Damon and Affleck most apart.
The cast also includes Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott AdkinsAND Kyle Chandler. The film is directed by Joe Carnahanwhich is not foreign to the thrillers with sharp edges.
The synopsis reads: “After discovering millions in cash in an abandoned escort house, the trust in a team of Miami policemen begins to fray. While external forces learn the size of the kidnapping, everything is questioned – including those who can rely on.”
The RIP He will make his debut on Netflix on January 16 and, based on this first trailer, he promises to be a dark and compelling lap full of betrayal, moral dilemmas and a little power of stars of the maximum weights.
