Tom Holland has returned to action as Peter Parker, and this time, Spider-Man: New day He leans strongly to the old school cinema. Instead of being confined with the study sets, Holland and the crew are out on the streets of the real city, giving fans a peek at a more rooted and practical approach to the next great adventure of Spidey of Marvel.
The actor recently spoke of his excitement during the filming in Scotland, where production has taken parts of Glasgow with enormous action sequences. Holland told AFP (through Barron):
“Yesterday I was on top of a tank that led along the main road of Glasgow, in front of thousands of fans, and it was fantastic. It was so incredible, it was exciting and exhilarating, and it seemed fresh.”
This marks the first return of Holland to the role of Spider-Man since 2021 Spider-Man: No Way Home. He explained how this new film feels different from its last release as a web-Slinger.
“I think we were really limited to what we could do in the latest film because of Covid. We shot the entire movie on phases. Now, we will really lean on that old school cinema and shoot in real places.”
Filming began last month and online fans have already eaten photos behind the scenes showing the updated Spider-Man dress and even possible clues about the villain who will be faced.
The cast of the film also includes Jon Bernhal as a punisher, Mark Ruffalo like Hulk, e Sadie Smash in a mysterious role. Zendaya AND Jacob Batalon They also returned as MJ and Ned, continuing Peter’s close -knit circle.
