Fans of Wednesday They are about to have fun even more disturbing from the minds that have given birth to the Netflix successful series. Alfred Gough AND Miles MillarThe creative duo behind the show revealed that they are working on a brand new Addams family Animated film and is not a Netflix project.
The news comes immediately after Wednesday Part 1 of season 2 was previewed on the streamer and while Netflix is already going on with season 3, this animated film is embarking on a completely different path. Instead of streaming, it is directed to cinemas as part of a partnership with Amazon MGM.
Gough shared the podcast crew calls from Deadline: “We are working on with Amazon MGM and with Kevin Miserocchiwho manages the Addams Foundation, he knew Charles Addams and the Guardian of Addams’ flame and with Gail Berman AND John Glickman. We are restarting the animated film franchise. “
This new interpretation will be alone, separated from the Netflix series and past films. As Gough explained, “it will have nothing to do with the two films before, nor is it connected to this show. It will be a brand new function of Addams. There is not much that we can say about it, because it is in the same phases.”
The film will restart the Addams family Animated franchises that hit the cinemas in 2019 and 2021 with Charlize Theron AND Oscar Isaac lending their voices. Unlike those, the new film aims at a new beginning and a film version.
