Marvel Studios is taking MCU in a wild direction with The Fantastic Four: First StepsAnd the greatest revelation is the introduction of Franklin Richards, one of the most powerful characters in the history of Marvel comics.

Fans talk about Franklin’s role for months and now president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige He is making fun of how important it will be for the Marvel film universe that goes on.

For those who are not familiar, Franklin Richards is the son of Reed Richards and his Storm, and in the comics, he is a Mutant of Omega level with the ability of vagation of the reality that compete with the gods cosmic. His presence alone indicates that Marvel is not playing safely with the MCU debut of the first family.

Feige explained the decision to include Franklin during a recent round print table:

“Well, I think, as always, look at the comics. Look at the comics. There is great potential with Franklin. There is a great potential in the other child. And, I really mean the reason to do it before is that it had never been done before.

“There have been four films, as you are well aware. And Franklin has never been part of it. So, while we were looking for ways to distinguish it, to make a definitive version of Fantastic Four, we thought that the notion of that child and his importance to come would be a good starting point and embrace. And this is certainly what Matt embraced.”

This is enormous because Franklin’s comic story is linked to some iconic plots of Marvel, including its meetings with Galactus. It is so powerful that he resurrected the world devio and even served as his herald.

The mention of Feige of “the other child” also indicates Valeria Richards, the second son of Reed and his, whose intellect at the level of genius has deep ties with none other than Dr. Doom. With Doom confirmed to appear Avengers: DoomsdayMarvel is clearly laying the foundations for a plot that will be strongly inspired by comics.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps It is a fundamental piece of the Multiverse saga. Set entirely on Earth-828 in a retro-film of the 60s, the film makes some really interesting creative alterations by leaning against the aesthetic inspired by Jack Kirby. This fresh chronology also allows Marvel to introduce the bad tough Galactus, played by Ralph Inesionand a version of Silver Surfer’s Sugha-Bal, played by Julia Garner.

With his powers of formation of the universe of Franklin Richards, he could be the winning card of the MCU in the Multiverse war impending against the Doom Dott. By Robert Downey Jr ..

The Fantastic Four: First Steps It affects the theaters July 25thAnd it is clear that this film is modeling the future of the MCU in an enormous way.
