Toho Animation has released a new trailer for Kaiju n. 8 Season 2 and is full of everything that fans were waiting for. With the season season of summer 2025 already stacked with maximum return weights, this is what is being prepared to trample the competition.
The new trailer makes fun of a heavy return of action, with glances updated to the main cast, new characters who enter the fray and another collaboration with burden. Their new final theme, “Beautiful Colors”, plays on the trailer and gives an emotional tone for chaos.
Season 2 is officially previewed in Japan on July 19 and, just like the first season, it will be transformed internationally via Crunchyroll and X. The cast is expanding largely this season. The new additions include: Koki Uchiyama Like Gen Narumi, Hiroki Yasumoto Like Eiji Hasegawa, Kana Hanazawa like Rin Shinonome, e Kotono Mitsuishi Like Hikaru Shinomiya.
The original creative team has also returned and includes directors Shigeyuki Miya AND Tomomi Tamiya, Tetsuya Nishio manages the character design e Yuta Call scores the series. The Khara study continues to manage Kaiju drawings together with the IG production, then wait more than the slick animation and the intense creature action that helped season 1 to stand out.
Crunchyroll makes fun of the plot for season 2 as follows: “Thanks to Isao Shinomiya, Kafka Hibino avoids being transformed into a weapon. While the new recruits head towards their places, Kafka meets Gen Narumi, the strongest man of the defense force and the leader of the first division.
“Kafka embraces the power of Kaiju n. 8 to force Gen to recognize his strength. In the meantime, Kaiju n. 9 hides in the shadows as the greatest threat that the defense force has faced.”
Creator Naoya Matsumoto He is also preparing to release the final chapter of Kaiju n. 8 Manga just like the new season has a preview, making it a summer stones for the franchise. Between the anime and the manga finale, fans have a total breakdown.
Season 2 present in July 19th. The theme of opening of the show is a new obsessive track entitled “You Can’t Run From Yourself” of Aurora.
