HBO Max cancels the series of springs of the 70s after a season

Well, it was short -lived. HBO Max officially pulled the plug Duster After only one season. The series, created by Latoya Morgan AND JJ AbramsHe had just wrapped his season finale last week, leaving fans invested in his gritty and retro world that wondered what he could have been.

The show was previewed in May and recited LostJosh Holloway as an escape driver who works for an increasing criminal union in the South -ovest of the 70s. Rachel Hilson He played a young FBI agent determined on a mission to bring everything down.

I saw the first couple episodes of the series, but never attracted my attention.

In a statement, HBO Max shared: “While HBO Max will not go on with a second season of DusterWe are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with incredibly talented co-creators JJ Abrams and Latoya Morgan and our partners of Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Television.

“We are tremendously proud of this series led by Josh Holloway and Rachel Hilson and we thank them together with our cast and our troupe for their incredible collaboration and partnership.”

This envelops a long way to the show. Duster It was announced for the first time in 2020 as part of the large overall Abrams agreement with Warner Bros. Television and was the only series of live-action of that agreement to actually jump on the air on HBO Max. Others including a Justice League Dark Project and Shiny-InPente Spin -Off, development has never been overcome.
