New Fantastic Four: First Steps Featurette shows fantastic behind the scenes.

Marvel Studios has just dropped a new featurette for The Fantastic Four: First Steps Featurette, and present new movies, acrobatics and a nice revelation behind the scenes. The sets for this movie are fantastic! But someone is very remarkably absent.

The video includes interviews with the director Matt Shakman and President of Marvel Studios Kevin FeigeBy offering some other crumbs on how Marvel’s first family is restarted. We also take a look at some extraordinary practical sets and a look at the action that is in store. As Shakman explains:

“What we are doing here is to reintroduce these characters in a world that is both new and familiar. It has the heart, adventure and a tone that really leans on the science fiction roots of the Fantastic Four. This is only the beginning.”

Feige adds:

“This is a fundamental piece for what will come later. We waited for the right time and the right team, and now we have both. Fans are in something very special.”

But in all excitement, fans have been ready to notice this John Malkovich The name is no longer attached to the official project. His name, once included in the previous printing material, is now vanished by the credits shown at the end of the featurette.

This follows the previous relationships that Malkovich had been removed from the cast list, despite having been clearly seen in the original teaser trailer.

According to the rumor Mill, Malkovich would have interpreted Red Ghost, a bad guy from the era of the Cold War known for commanding super-appeal and tried to demonstrate the Soviet superiority compared to the United States. If it seems too wild for modern Marvel, it could be exactly the point. It is possible that the role did not go well during the tests of the tests or simply did not adapt to the final tone of the film, leading to a quiet release.

The interesting thing is that while Malkovich is not found anywhere, other cast members like Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha LyonneAND Sarah NilesThey are still listed, despite the fact that we have not yet seen their characters in any of the trailers.

If Malkovich has been completely cut or simply put aside for marketing reasons, Marvel is not saying.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps It promises to be a great swing for the MCU. The film will be released in cinemas on July 25, 2025.
