The office It is one of the best comic series of all time. He has such a fantastic writing and characters that we all learned to love. But he faced a serious shock on the road when his star is, Steve Carellwho played the boss Michael Scott, he left the series in season 7.
The show went on for two more seasons, with fun in each episode and a perfect ending, but the two seasons without Carell proved to be much more difficult to do than those in which it was included.
Rainn Wilsonwho played Dwight Schrute in the show, explained the Good Guys podcast:
“When Steve left, then it was a bit chaotic in trying to understand the tone of the show and who is the protagonist and, as we are telling these stories without, you know, the comic engine of the show, which is Michael Scott, and without one of the greatest comic actors in American history at the center of our show. It was also a struggle.”
Carell certainly knows how to make people laugh, and as a center of so many shows of the show, I am sure it was difficult to go on, especially working in several new actors in place. They made it work, however and they came out at the top.
