Written by Platt, Galvin, Gordon and Lieberman, the film is inspired by the 2020 short films of the same name. Watch as the eccentric cast of a drama camp in upstate New York reunites with the founder’s beloved brother, who fell into a coma before the summer term, to resume camp. Featuring original music written by Galvin, Gordon, Lieberman, Platt and Mark Sonnenblick, the film will feature prominent actors such as Alexander Bello, Kindra Sanchez, Bailey Bonick, Donovan Kolan and Vivien Sachs.
Eric Feig, Sam Kim Falvi and Julia Hammer will co-produce Picturestart, with Maria Zuckerman and Ryan Heller for Topic Studios and Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, Alex Brown and Mary Bundy for Gloria Sanchez Productions. Picturestart and Topic Studios are sponsors of the film.
