James Gunn says “very famous film actor” is writing a screenplay by the film DC Elseworlds

In a recent chat with Entertainment Weekly, DC Studios Co-Head James Gunn He dropped an intriguing bomb that a very famous film actor is currently writing a script for a project Elseworlds.

“I said:” It depends on how the script comes out … if it is a masterpiece, I will do it, but it must be a masterpiece. ” [Laughs] And it’s like “I don’t know if it’s a masterpiece”. It has become all fun.

“He is still working on it, however. He is still trying to do it, so we’ll see. The masterpiece could push him, but he must be really fantastic.”

So who is the actor? Gunn did not say, and that mystery could be half the fun for now. For Gunn, they must be equally strong of the main DCU films to justify their space. He continued:

“If it is a story of Elseworlds, then it is worth saying something that could tend to confuse some people. But also part of our thing is really clear about what Elseworlds is and on what is dcu.”
