Currently in production in Georgia, the film follows a teacher in a violent marriage who takes a job in a maximum security prison, where he falls in love with a charismatic prisoner. The disastrous consequences question not only the nature of punishment and punishment, but also the limits of our humanity.
Nelson said about the project: “I feel deeply lucky to be able to tell this story with such an extraordinary lead cast. I have always admired Amanda and put me to work with her in the film of Mona Fastvold Ann Lee last summer confirmed for me what an extraordinary person is apart from her talent.
“As for Scoot, it’s nice to be able to offer him such a demanding part. Nobody has seen him do what he is about to make in this role. It will be magnificent to be on set with these two artists.”
Noting Life and death He marks his third film set in his state of origin of Oklahoma, “A Place I Love”, added Nelson, “is a difficult story, but also one means taking his audience and not letting us go.
