Appeared for the first time Captain America: The First Avengerand continued to play the role in his Marvel One-Shot, as well as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Agents of Shield, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, his short -lived series Agent Carter, Avengers: endgamewhere we saw Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) go back in time to spend your life with her, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesswhere he was ruthlessly cut in two and expressed Carter in the animated series What if…?.
So what awaits us for Peggy Carter? Atwell hopes that he will come back in some way, while he sees Carter as a seriously undergoing character. The actress explained in a recent interview with Den of Geek:
“There are so many things that it could do, there is much more that I feel I can bring to a character because I developed while the weather went on. The thing so beautiful to have time behind you and having had a 20 -year career so far is the development of skills, and I think there is much more than Peggy can do.
“He is very a underground character. When he says” I know my value and the opinion of all the others has no importance “, it is because the platform that knows that it deserves and that is really able to do in the world has not been given to her”.
He continued to add:
“And so I just think that there is much more that it can do, and I think you speak at a modern time, so to be able to bring it to that subsequent level as the Carter Carter would be phenomenal. Especially with all my mission: impossible training. I am ready, let’s go!”
Atwell is exceptional in the role and I think he is very potential if he has the opportunity to continue interpreting it. The next opportunities that make the most sense would be Avengers: Doomsday (2026) e Avengers: Secret Wars (2027). Would you like to see Peggy Carter’s return?
