Production on Ahsoka Season 2 is underway. Rosario Dawsonwho plays the beloved ex-jedi who brandishes the force Ahsoka Tano, has just dropped the first photo behind the scenes from the set, confirming that the cameras are now rolling on the second expected season.
While the photo itself holds things under the compresses, it gives the fans a glance of Dawson in costume, well, at least his silhouette and the unmistakable outline of the character.
This news follows the celebration of Star Wars last week in Japan, where Lucasfilm made fun of the fact that the filming was imminent. Now that it has been officially started, the excitement is building quickly, especially with season 2 that is preparing to continue the legacy of Star Wars Rebels in live-action form.
With Ezra (Eman Esfandi), Hera (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Sabine (Natasha liu bordered), Chopper and Zeb Orrelios recently made fun of all that return, the Full Ghost crew is gathering again.
One of the most discussed revelations during the celebration panel was the casting of Rory McCann (game of Thrones) Like Baylan Skoll, intervening for the deceased Ray Stevenson.
“Baylan is important. It is the parallel of Ahsoka, and this is a parallel that must continue,” said creator of the series Dave Filoni. “[Rory’s] The entire focus is not to drop Ray and don’t disappoint you. The strength is with him. “
Filoni also dropped another surprise, with admiral Ackbar that appears in season 2 and is destined to “go to head” with none other than the Grand Admiral Thrawn. That’s right, Mon Calamari vs. Tactical teacher. This will be wild!
There is still much that we don’t know, but the pieces are going in place. With the production now in progress and the promise of multiple rebels, new threats and dramas fed by force, Ahsoka Season 2 is clearly ready to bring things to another level.
Filoni is also promising to fans something for which we are all hungry … Star Wars war. He made fun of: “I will say only what it is because they arrived in this way, and I know what they really want to talk about what is what it is in the second season.
“So, half of it is a very large battle. There will be a war in our Star Wars. Like a whole out, launching on a scale in the best possible way, the best as Jon and I can afford because we want it.”
Ahsoka Season 2 drops in 2026.
