Netflix has published a new promotional video that promotes its next Tudum event and included the first official movie of Guillermo del Toro’S Frankenstein adaptation. It is very short, but it presents Oscar Isaac While Victor Frankenstein launches a newspaper while preparing to read a letter.
I guess we will see an adequate trailer for the film published during the online event on May 31st. The video also makes fun of the videos of several other Netflix projects such as Stranger Things 5.
Jacob Elordi I take on the role of the monster in the film and for those who saw an early cut of the trailer, “saw the victory of Isaac Frankenstein in front of my Goth as an apparently aristocratic beloved.
Another description said: “It is high, it is slow and despite being put together by various parts of the body, you can clearly see that it is Elordi under the whole makeup.
“His cinema star Good Look collided with the horrible trick in a way that works. Even the signature cut on the head, a staple of each Frankenstein monster, is a little fresher than usual while he starts in the upper right of his head and then gets closer close to his left eye.”
Del Toro chases this adaptation for decades, calling him his most personal project ever. He said: “This film has been in my mind since I was a child – for fifty years. I tried to make it from 20 to 25 years old.
“In fact, some people could even think that I am a little obsessed with Frankenstein, and they would probably be right. You see, over the decades, the character has merged with my soul in a way that has become an autobiography. He no longer becomes a personal than that. I hope you like this little look at Frankenstein.”
For Del Toro, face Frankenstein concerned both the courage as the creative ambitions. “It’s a movie I wanted to make for 50 years since I saw the first Frankenstein.
“I had an epiphany, and it is basically a film that required a lot of growth and many tools that I could not have made 10 years ago. Now I am quite courageous or crazy or something like that, and we will face it.”
But even after all these years of preparation, the director admitted to hear the weight of the challenge. “Frankenstein for me is the peak of everything, and a part of me wants to make a version of it, a part of me has been in Chicken for more than 25 years.
“I dream of being able to do their best Frankenstein Never, but then if you do it, you did it. Whether it’s fantastic or not, it’s done. You can no longer dream of it. This is the tragedy of a director.
“You can dream of something but once you did it, you did it. Here.
Manufacturer J. Miles Dale said that this version of Frankenstein It will be an emotional experience, suitable for the recent themes of Del Toro of Father-Chiglio Relations.
“In the last two films, certainly with Nightmare alley And then with Pinocchio, We faced the entire father-child relationship. And Guillermo and I have lost both of our fathers in recent years.
“When you have a strong paternal figure, it is an important part of our life. This version of Frankenstein Much descends that thematic road.
“So, I feel like this is the third film in Guillermo’s father trilogy. It is exciting and when you read the script, it is very emotional and, of course, very iconic.”
I can’t wait to see Del Toro’s vision of this story brought to life!
