Quarter Century Stampede still offers another experience of opening the funny package and a mega-Pacco 2025 tin announcement

Last week, Konami officially released the penultimate set of Yu-gi-oh! Commercial cards to have a secret rarest of the quarter of a century (QCrs) in them: Quarter century Professade! This is the fourth Rarity collection Set and follow the footsteps of Bonanza of the quarter of a century in almost all ways except the real cards.

Each package contains 5 cards, 1 of which come from a pool of separate cards of nostalgic cards, many of which fans have voted. Personally I was quite enthusiastic about the set and I was happy when Konami sent me a box to open. You can watch me open the box in the video below.

I wanted to share some thoughts on Quarter century Professade Now that it has been released and we know the entire setlist. First of all, what they did with Dragon Master Magic and basically every alternative art card in the set is dirty. While I understand the desire not to print a QCR in two sets, I think it is dirty to put these cards again in selected rarity.

Dragon Master Magic is only available in Platinum Secret Rare, Prismatic Collector Rare and Prismatic Rare Rare, which means that it is not available in two of the rarities available when taking into account the fact that it has already been printed as QCR (and that it was also dirty). Alternative artistic cards are made available only as QCR which is also ridiculous! Let them be available!

Secondly, some of the inclusions and exclusions for both swimming pools are a bit strange in a certain sense. For example, I think it is nice that Epritelly Noir is here, but the lack of any other purity card makes me scratch my head and if they had only brought a card as well, it should have been expressly noir.

I also think it’s a mistake that neither of the two pools have Edison’s magical Android. That card has not been printed in over a decade and therefore the cheapest you can get it at any time is about $ 16! Previous rarity collection sets have had cards included in the older formats, so this oversight is a bit sad.

Instead we get a card like Mystic Piper who, however, has never been relevant to any destination, nor in any of the souls. Having said that, I love inclusions in both pools such as Mementotlan Angwitch, Mulcharmy Futoalos, Metaltronus, many alternative works of art, criminal duo, dust trap and many others. This set has good cards, even some questionable thrown in the mix.

I really liked these Rarity collection Set and we agree that the first was objectively the best and should return to that format. However, everyone certainly had cards I wanted and I was a fun experience and I know that many other duels have fun opening them.

I hope that Konami continues this idea with Starlight rares instead of qcrs and perhaps slows down a little. I still believe that they would be a good substitute for mega annual boxes that duels have become increasingly frustrated over the years.

Speaking of mega boxes, Konami also announced some details on the mega boxes for 2025. 2025 Mega-Pack tinThis year, duels will be able to buy mega packages in two ways. First of all, there is the traditional set of three in a metal box with a recommended price of $ 23.99.

In my opinion, the tin seems really interesting with several characters of the different series of souls in front of a card associated with La Card playing. Yugi is in front of the wizard of chaos, Jaden of Elemental Hero Neos and Yusei is in front of Junk Synchron to name a few. Inside the boxes, the duels will also find 3 deck dividers depicting works of art from the tin.

The second way to get mega packages is through 3 packages for $ 20.99. These are not supplied with the metal box or the bridge dividers. Honestly, I like this idea of not having to buy the metal box also, but I would like the discount to be more than $ 3. We do not know any of the card cards (even if I would imagine that all the cards on the box are included), but we know that each mega package will include 1 rare star light, 1 prismatic secret rare, 3 ultra rare and 8 common goods (in total 13 cards per pack).

I hope Konami will manage the cards better this year and will be much smaller than the last two years. What do you hope to be in 2025 MEGA-PACK boxes?
