Amazon MGM Studios has published the United States Trailer for an Indonesian action thriller movie The siege to Thorn High.
The film is set in the middle of the turbulent conditions of the Indonesian society in 2027 which are on the collapse point and a character named Edwin faces a struggle for survival when the school in which he teaches suddenly turns into a battle of life and death triggered by discrimination and racial hatred.
In the film, “Edwin (Morgan Oey) He promised his sister on his death bed to find his son who gave up a long time ago. Edwin’s search leads him to become a replacement teacher at the Duri High School, in Jakarta, Indonesia, a school for youth criminals.
“There he has to face the most violent students to find his nephew. When in the end he finds the boy, a revolt throughout the city breaks out and Edwin is trapped in the school with cruel children for his blood.”
The film is written and directed by Joko Anwar and is intended to be released in Indonesia theaters starting from April 17, 2025. The release of the United States has not been set. It looks like a solid movie, however, it is worth taking a look!
