At Cinemacon, Disney gave fans a first look Predator: BadlandsAnd this was not what I expected. Director Dan Trachtenbergwho reinvigorated the franchise Prey In 2022, he returned, and he is turning the tables in ways that even the hardest fans could surprise.
While we are still waiting for the details of the mysterious project of animated predators who are developing, Badlands He enters the spotlight with a new wild concept … What happens if a predator hunter is not the monster that hunts the humans this time?
Elle Fanning said during the presentation of cinema: “In this film something unprecedented happens. My character joins the predator and you see it under a new light”.
The trailer opens with a disturbing vision of a lair stacked with skulls. Fanning’s voice stops:
“I didn’t think you survived.” The camera crosses a desolate alien world. A spaceship cuts through the sky. This is not the earth. Everything, from the ground to wildlife, is unrecognizable and hostile.
“The most fatal hunter returns to the big screen”, flashes on the screen. The predator walks alone along a mountain ridge.
The character of Fanning is shown with white and rolled eyes and it seems that something otherworld is clearly happening. The tone is dark, gritty and intense. This is described in the trailer as “a planet of pain”.
But the greatest turning point in the story is that the predator is what is chased. And the new monsters? They are huge, grotesque and terrifying.
“You are chasing something that cannot be killed,” says the character of Fanning, while the trailer increases.
So, we have a fantastic photo of the predator with tied hair, and emits that iconic four beds. He is facing an accolid beast that jumps into the scene and the video ends.
This is a predator as we have never seen before and it is less slasher-from-phe-tree, a survival thriller for intergalactic deficits and looks fantastic!
Predator: Badlands will arrive in the cinemas 7 November.
