Tom Hardy opens on the Spider-Man/Venom crossover which almost happened

Tom Hardy He recently appeared on the podcast of the speech and spoke of a crossover of Spider-Man and long-lasting Venom that fans hoped to see and how much he actually came to become reality.

“We approached,” Hardy shared, referring to a potential rendering of the accounts (or team?) Tom HollandSpider-man. “We approached the most that I could imagine getting, in addition to making a movie together, which I would have liked to do because this only means very fun.”

So what happened? Why have we not received this mega-film moment? The guest of the podcast pushed Hardy that the study policy has come in the middle. Hardy did not explain it, but did not denote him, saying: “For all the reasons you explained in the end there.”

In other words … yes, it seems that the usual network of studio complications between Sony and Marvel has left the idea by little by little out of reach.

Hardy continued to explain why he wanted to happen, saying: “Basically, for me, it would be for children because, as you know, as adults love superhero films, as you can say from the box office when they are successful, I think you constantly remember from children how important these characters are. And they don’t know why their favorite characters are not in the films together.”

Yes, ok. I understand it, but at the same time Venom is an ultra violent Marvel character who eats people’s head! Venom was not created to be a children’s character.

Director Ruben Fleischerwho guided the first Poison Film, also around this connection during the day, suggesting that it was always the final game.

“That’s where everything will lead,” he said. “And this is the exciting thing, because we have changed the origin of Venom [for the first movie]. In the comics, he evolved from Spider-Man, but for the Sony Marvel thing, we were unable to do it. And therefore the thing I think is building, and it will be exciting to see is when they actually confront each other. “

Also as recently like the Venom: The Last Dance Premiere, Hardy was still a crossover game, saying: “I would like to fight Spider-Man. I would like to fight it now. I am happy to fight Spider-Man today, 100 %. I would never say.”

It is interesting that there have been discussions of a Crossover film by Spider-Man and Venom. I did not realize that it was something that could actually happen if the stars had aligned themselves. But they didn’t.

I am sure that one day we will see Spider-Man and Venom appear together in a Marvel film, I don’t think it will be the version of the character of Tom Hardy.
