Vin Diesel has announced on Instagram that he will direct a precursor Fast X: Part 2. This is Fast & Furious Short film that will fill the gap between the first part of the story and the great ending.
The actor said: “I think of that critical moment in the fast franchise, where we had just wrapped the fourth movie …
“The study asked me to direct the precursor to the film, to explain where it was Dom between the first and fourth film. It was called Los Bandoleros.
“Now, all these years later, the request has returned for me to direct the precursor to the ending.
Because now it is the saga of the world, I am encouraged to film somewhere else, truly exotic …
“One of the locations where we were lucky enough to film for Fast Seven was the Middle East. He finished to be our most global film, just shy of two billion dollars at the box office.
“My only regret was that we never had the opportunity to film in the desert.”
So it seems to me that the exotic place that is trying to shoot the project will be in the desert of the Middle East.
In case you don’t remember, in Los BandolerosDominic Toretto recruit Han Lue and Rico Santos to help Tago Leo, associated with Dom, flee from a prison in the Dominican Republic.
Dom, having lived as a fugitive in the country in the last five years, and his crew organizes a meeting with the local politician Elvis to create the hijacking of a oil tanker. Elvis tries to exploit the repercussions for a political advantage, while Dom and his crew want to give the fuel to the aunt, Rabia and their local community.
Dear and Malo, two friends of Dom, accompany the rest of the crew in a night club to meet Elvis, who organizes the robbery to take place on a highway the following morning. Dom is therefore surprised by the arrival of Letty Ortiz, who guide together on a beach and rekindle their love story.
As for the next chapter of The Franchise Universal Pictures he hired Christina Hodson (The Flash, Bumblebee) AND Oren Uziel (The Lost City, 22 Jump Street) for co-writing of the script. It was also previously confirmed that Fast x director Louis Leterrier He is returning to Direct.
When previously talked about the final filming, the Diesel franchise said: “To say that the excitement for our ending was incredibly powerful is an understatement. This great ending is not just an ending; it is a celebration of the incredible family that we built together. I hope to make you proud!”
