CBS Studios and propagating the contents are collaborating with the actor and fans of the manga Masi Oka (Heroes, Hawaii five-0) to develop a television adaptation of the Dark Fantasy Manga series Claymore In collaboration with the Japanese publishing house Shueisha.
Oka will act as an executive producer alongside Ben Silverman, Howard T. Owens and Rodney Ferrell of Propagate Content Banner and Shueisha. A writer for adaptation has not yet been hired.
Written and illustrated by Norihiro Yagi, Claymore It is set in a dark and medieval world in which humans have been preyed on predators who move the form called Yoma since ancient times. The survival of humanity depends on warrior women known as Claymores, who fight the Yoma.
The adaptation of the live-action series aims to preserve the action and complex moral dilemmas of the original manga and the soul TV series that was available in the United States on Crunchyroll.
Similar to her character HeroesOka also collects manga and co -produced the 2017 film adaptation of the manga series death Note For Netflix.
