Review: Last breath is a dive full of suspense in the depths of survival

Last breath Initially it was not a film that I really wanted to see, but a friend told me that I would have to take a look, and I’m glad they did it because this film was a hellish ride. From the moment the film started, I was blocked. It is the type of film that grabs you and does not let go, pulling you deeper into its high claustrophobic world.

This is exactly the reason why I love these medium budget films. If done well, they offer an equally compelling experience, if not more, of the great successes in the studio. Last breath It is proof of this.

The film tells the true story of deep seasoned divers who fight against the impossible probability to save a teammate trapped hundreds of meters below the ocean surface.

It is an intense and stern thriller that continues to bring down the tension with each scene. The feeling of isolation, the overwhelming weight of the deep and the crazy desperation of the situation make a visual experience that is both exciting and unnerving.

Director Alex Parkinson’s It does a phenomenal job giving life to this incredible story and makes the ocean feel vast and terrifying in a way that I have never seen it before.

The film is shot magnificently, with a breathtaking underwater cinematography with off suspense. As for the cast Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu, Finn ColeAND Cliff Curtis Everyone offers excellent performance. Harrelson, as always, is engaging without effort, but all the subjects involved bring their game to, making you feel every gram of fear, hope and tiredness.

When the credits have been rolled, it remained with that rare and buzzing energy that you obtain only from a truly exceptional thriller. Last breath It is the type of film that people will continue to discover for the years to come, a return to the survival thrillers of the old school.

If you are of the right mood for something compelling, intense and sincerely rewarding, do not let this escape you.
