New trailer for the horror movie by Blumhouse The Woman in the Yard

Universal Pictures has published a new trailer for Blumhouse’s next horror movie The woman in the courtyardwho comes from the director Jaume Colle-Serra (House of wax, orphan, the dry).

This trailer gives us a better look at what the film will entail, and while initially I thought that this could be a disturbing film, this new trailer has not made much to conquer me.

In the film, a mysterious woman dressed in black only shows off in the courtyard of a family’s house and is linked to something accident.

Danielle Deadwyler (Until, the more difficult they fall, the piano lesson) interprets “Ramona, a woman paralyzed by pain after it survives a car accident that her husband takes (Russell Hornsby; BMF, fences).

“Seriously injured, Ramona now has to take care of the 14 -year -old son (Peyton Jackson; Respect, American refugee) and 6 -year -old daughter (Estella Kahiha; Will Trent, BMF), alone in his rural farm. Then one day the woman takes shape in their courtyard. “

“Ramona takes on the woman (Okwui okpokwasili; The Exorcist: Believer, the dream of a midsummer night by Julie Taymor) is lost or demented, but while the woman gets closer to the house, it becomes clear that she is not an ordinary figure and her intentions are far from peaceful.

“Now Ramona has to gather to protect herself and her children from the taking of the woman who simply does not leave them alone.”

Producer Jason Blum Previously he said about the film: “I tried to find the right project on which to work with Jaume, in our system, for over a decade.

The woman in the courtyard It is the perfect game, a film that has ambitious scope but modest in the budget that combines Jaume’s vision with the incomparable Danielle Deadwyler.

“Together with my friend Stephanie Allain, this is a real dream team and I am excited to collaborate with them in the film.”

The woman in the courtyard It will be released in cinemas on March 28, 2025.
