Matthew Rhys (Perry Mason, the Americans) is destined to act in an executive product Widow’s BayA new supernatural series created on Apple TV+. It seems that it will be an interesting show!
Widow’s Bay concerns “a mysteriously cursed island of New England and its superstitious citizens, led by a mayor (Rhys) who refuses to believe their warnings.
“The mayor of Rhys Tom Loftis is a single dad without frills forced to face the superstitious citizens of his city who believe that he is cursed while he is desperately trying to put the area on the map like the next Nantucket.”
The project was created by Katie Dippald (Ghostbusters, The Heat, Parks & Re), with Hiro Murai set to direct the pilot. It will consist of ten episodes.
