The film is based on an unsolved mystery that took place on a remote island in the Galapagos, the film traces the lengths that humans will go in search of happiness.
It is inspired by two different reports of the same true story and the film is described as “a dark history of murder and survival, set a group of eclectic characters who abandon the civilization for the Galapagos.
They are all looking for the answer to that continuous edition question that afflicts us all: what is the meaning of life. “
In the film, “Dr. Friedrich Ritter (law) and his partner Dora Strauch (Kirby) flee from their native Germany in 1929, repudiating the bourgeois values they believe are run the true nature of humanity. On the island of Galapagos named Floreana, Friedrich can focus on the writing of his manifesto, while Dora decides to take care of his multiple sclerosis through meditation.
“Their loneliness conquered hard, however, is short -lived. They are reached by Margaret (Sweeney) and Heinz Wittmer (Brühl), who also prove to be serious and capable settlers. Subsequently, Eloise Bosquet de Wagner Wehrhorn (Armas) arrives a self -excitement and the “form of realization of perfection”, which arrives with two devoted lovers, an Ecuadorian servant, a wardrobe full of evening dresses and plans to erect a luxury hotel.
“Between time inclement, unruly wild fauna and a total lack of services, all three groups find Ardua di Floreana. But nothing will test their courage more than the challenge of coexisting with desperate neighbors capable of theft, deception … and worse. “
This is a type of movie very different from Howard, who previously was guided Splash, Bozzolo, Salice, Backdraft, La Carta, Apollo 13, Ransom, in Beautiful Mind, Cinderella Man, The Da Vinci Code, Rush, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Hillbilly ElegyAND Thirteen lives More recently.
The script is written by Noah Park (The show, Tetris). The film will open first in Germany starting from April 3, 2025. No release date in the United States is still set for Eden.
