During the weekend, Marvel Concept Artist Mushk Rizvi has dropped a lot of fresh art concepts from various MCU projects on Artstation, including a look at Avengers: Doomsday.
Whether it’s accidental postponement or a strategic plan from Marvel, revelation has aroused a lot of excitement. But hidden in the mix was something equally interesting … concept art for Captain America: Brave New World This showed the original plan of the film for the Society snake.
At one point, this super -renormine team had to face Captain America and Falcon, and perhaps also Isaiah Bradley in the opening of the film. The voices suggest that they are linked to a different version of the leader, one imagined as more mind rather than a victim, who has enhanced them as part of a wider scheme to steal the Adamanzio and trigger a global crisis.
The concept art reveals various design for the team and, based on previous photos, it seems that Marvel Studios initially are based on supercellain costumes in all respects.
A detail remains consistent in all the different looks are the cybernetic improvements in their arms, increasing the skills of characters such as diamondback, cobra, mamba and constructor.
Rosa Salazar and WWE Star Seth Rollins They were launched respectively as diamondback and cobra, but both were cut by the final film. Salazar even released a Happy Meal toy for the film before his character was removed.
Director Julius Onah He turned to the decision to remove the company to snake, explaining how the filming moved the tone of the film from “accentuated” to “more rooted”.
“I think it is a little deceptive in” a completely new character has been added “, because the serpent society was always part of the story, so the function of the story that Serpent Society serves in the film has never changed … We were probably deviating a little too much with a rooted tone that we wanted the film to have with the way we created the Serpent company at the beginning.”
Onah developed why the bad guys did not adapt to the final version of the film:
“You know, they are people dressed like comics snakes, and they have adjacent powers and things of snake who are really intensified, and you wanted an actor who could really help us tilt or manage towards the fantastic, but without losing that sense of rooting. So it is not like the snake society or the character has changed. It was really introducing a version that adapts to the film tone.
In essence, Marvel had to choose between embracing the elements of wild comics or maintaining New brave world More in line with the more tricky and political-thriller tone. The snake company did not cut.
The concept art offers a look at what could have been. Take a look at the drawings below and let us know what you think!
