Recently leaked concept art from Avengers: Doomsday He set fire to the Internet while making fun of some really interesting things that we can expect from the film Marvel. One of them also presents one of the most strange X-Men characters, one who would never have expected to see in the MCU … doop.
Green, floating, incomprehensible language anomaly X-Force AND X-Statix He may have made his way in the Marvel cinema universe and if the concept art is indicative, he could even roll with young Avengers.
While the Marvel Studios remained with tight lips Avengers: DoomsdayA batch of concept art has recently emerged online before the artist’s concept behind them removed them. But not before the fans save them and shared them.
The images took a lot Robert Downey Jr. Like Dr. Doom, Star-Lord with White Vision, a new black panther and a medieval-style environment with Hulk and She-Hulk together with other Hulks.
But Doop was a joker that I didn’t see. The leaked art shows the green Blob in what seems to be a bar or a restaurant, surrounded by young avengers. The group includes Mrs. Marvel, Kate Bishop, Cassie Lang, Wiccan and Speed. They are accompanied by Wong and Star-Lord.
Doop is not exactly a family name among Marvel fans as he is a rather dark character. Created by the writer Peter Milligan and artist Mike AllredIt appeared for the first time X-Force #116 in 2001.
This was not the classic X-Men force affiliated to X-Men, but a mutant team renewed and led by the media that was subsequently renamed as renamed X-Statix. Doop was their cameraman, capturing their wild and crazy adventures.
Doop’s origins are dark, with some stories that suggest that it was an experiment of the government of the era of the Cold War, while others suggest that it comes from a completely different dimension called Marginalia.
What we know is that it is absurdly powerful, which boasts skills such as flight, energy projection, longer duration and even a pocket universe within its own body. Oh, and speaks in a strange language that only a few characters can understand.
Over the years, Doop has moved through various Marvel stories, which have sprung up Wolverine and the X-Men As an administrator at the Jean Gray School for higher learning and participates in multiple crossover events.
While the concept art does not always guarantee the inclusion of a character in the final film, Marvel does not only throw random designs without reason. Given the multival chaos that currently takes place in the MCU, there are many ways in which Doop could adapt.
Perhaps it is of another universe. Perhaps his pocket dimension plays a role in the introduction of multiple mutants. Or maybe it’s just a character that Marvel wanted to throw in the fun movie.
