Fans of Constantine I waited almost two decades for a sequel, and while the progress was slow, there is a little momentum. Lawrence revealed that DC has officially given them permission to develop Constantine 2Stating: “Akiva (Goldsman) is writing and Keanu and Akiva and I have collaborated and I think we have some really excellent ideas that we are super enthusiastic about.”
He added that they are “close enough” to have a “practicable” script and confirmed that the sequel will exist outside the new DC universe of James Gunn, who falls under the Elseworlds Banner.
