Actor appointed to the Oscar Award Eddie Murphy (Beverly Hills Cop, Coming to America, Dreamgirls, Shrek) signed to act in the action comedy Blue Falcon. Sony Studio acquired the script written by Chad St. John (London has fallen), which recently scripted the Wapping Alan Ritchson action criminal thriller Motor City.
In Blue FalconMurphy will play a retired Superspy who heads for the destination marriage of his foreign son and finds himself near his archival.
The film will be produced by John Davis by Davis Films, Cliff Roberts through Syndicate Entertainment, and Murphy and Charisse Hewitt-Webster through Eddie Murphy Productions.
Murphy recently starred in Netflix Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Fand his next projects include a rhythm with Dreamgirls‘Bill Condon on the life of the founder of Parliament Funkadelic George Clinton.
