Will Smith He revealed that Matrix project that he previously made fun of, and is a music video for his new single “Beautiful Scars”, which is a collaboration with which he did Big sean.
The video begins with a parody of the famous red pill/blue pill scene from The matrix. Big Sean is in the role of Morfeo and praise Smith for his “fantastic career choices” over the years, but then mentions what Smith regretted.
Of course, Big Sean refers to Smith’s decision to refuse the role of Neo in The matrix. So, it offers Smith a choice … take the blue pill and everything remains as it is, or take the red pill and go back to the 90s to act The matrix.
Smith therefore decides to take both the blue and red pills, bringing to the track. The music video continues to recreate some of the matrix iconic action sequences, with Smith in the role of Neo.
Those scenes include Dojo’s fight and the new dodged bullets that are shot on the roof.
“Beautiful Scars” was released in collaboration with the announcement of Smith’s new album, Based on a true storywhich will be available in March.
