A24 has released a new trailer for Adrian Brodyit is a highly acclaimed film The brutalistwhich opens in theaters this weekend.
The film tells the story of a brilliant architect who emerges from the Holocaust during World War II and moves to America to start a new life.
In the film, “Escaping post-war Europe, visionary architect László Toth comes to America to rebuild his life, his work, and his marriage to his wife Erzsébet after being forced apart during the war by shifting borders and regimes.
“Alone in a strange new country, László settles in Pennsylvania, where the wealthy and prominent industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren recognizes his talent for building. But power and legacy come at a high price…”
The brutalist was directed by Brady Corbet (The childhood of a leader AND Vox Lux), and is also the protagonist Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Emma Laird, Isaach De BankoleAND Alessandro Nivola.
I’ve heard great things about this movie and can’t wait to watch it. I just need to find 3 hours and 35 minutes in my life to watch it! That’s a long running time.
