Ke Huy Quan takes us behind the scenes of his action film LOVE HURTS in the new promo

Universal has released a fantastic promotional video that takes us behind the scenes of the action film Love hurtsstarring the Oscar-winning actor Ke Huy Quan (The Goonies, Everything everywhere and everything at once).

We will see him reunite with his Goonies co-star Sean Astin in the clip, and Quan talks about his history with stunt work, which led him to get into fighting shape and do all of his own stunts in this film.

The synopsis reads: “From 87North – producers of the groundbreaking action films Nobody, Violent Night, Atomic Blonde and The Fall Guy – comes a visceral, fast-paced story of anger and revenge.

“Ke Huy Quan plays Marvin Gable, a real estate agent who works in the Milwaukee suburbs, where “For Sale” signs flourish. He receives a crimson envelope from Rose (Ariana DeBose), a former accomplice he had left for dead.

“He’s not happy. Now, Marvin is thrust back into a world of ruthless hitmen, filled with double-crosses and open houses transformed into deadly war zones.

“With his brother Knuckles (Daniel Wu), a volatile crime lord, hunting him, he must face the choices that haunt him and the history he never truly buried.

This looks like a really fun movie! I was looking forward to it after seeing the trailer, but seeing how badass Quan is and how much he put into this role makes me even more excited.

Love hurtsformerly known as With loveeven stars Ariana De Bose, Daniel Wu, Mustafa Shakir, Lio Tipton, Rhys Darby, Marshawn Lynch& André Eriksen. It is directed by JoJo Eusebiowho made his directorial debut after working as a stunt coordinator/second unit director on various films (including Deadpool 2, Birds of prey, Obi-Wan Kenobi). The screenplay is written by Matthew Murray, Josh Stoddard (Warrior) AND Luca Passmore.
