Here’s a deleted scene from Kraven the Hunterin which Sergei Kravinoff, aka Kraven, displays his superhuman speed.
The clip opens with Kraven sleeping in a London park and being woken up by a police officer. While they’re talking, Kraven springs into action using his Flash-like superhuman speed to save the officer from being hit by… a bicycle.
The whole thing is hilariously ridiculous, as Kraven is two or three feet away from the officer, and while it was cut from the film, it’s on par with the rest of the film’s ridiculousness.
I should notice Aaron Taylor-Johnson has experience playing faster Marvel characters after previously playing the MCU’s Quicksilver.
This is just further proof that the writers, directors, and producers don’t understand who Kraven is.
Kraven the Hunter was easily one of the worst films of 2024, and outgoing CEO Tony Vinciquerra recently said it’s “probably the worst launch we’ve had in the last 7 1/2 years.” [I’ve been at Sony]. It didn’t work very well, which I still don’t understand, because the movie isn’t a bad movie.”
Yes, yes… it’s the definition of a bad movie.
