Giulia Garner (Ozarks) will take on the role of the Silver Surfer, in the highly anticipated MCU film Fantastic Four: First Stepsand while promoting his next horror film The Wolf Man shared his excitement about joining the MCU.
When asked about her experience preparing for the role, she reflected on the size of the MCU, telling CB: “I mean, how big it is. It’s a big universe and I feel so grateful to be a part of it, to be honest.”
Garner also praised her co-stars and the film’s director, Matt Shakmanknown for his work on WandaVision. He said: “The casting of The fantastic 4 first steps it’s phenomenal. And Matt is amazing. I’m so excited to be part of this still growing universe.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ “Fantastic Four: First Steps” introduces Marvel’s First Family: Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pasquale), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face the toughest challenge they’ve ever faced.
“Forced to balance their role as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer. And as if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and all its inhabitants wasn’t terrible enough, it suddenly becomes very personal.”
Fantastic Four will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025.
