Fans are getting restless in anticipation Spider-Man 4. Not only have more than three years passed since then Spider-Man: No Way Home was released, but left us emotionally devastated for poor Peter Parker.
We can’t wait to see what her life is like since losing her friends and family. We hope to find him better than we left him, but his character will undoubtedly have to go through a lot more before he finds peace and happiness.
While we wait a year and a half for his story to continue, since they haven’t filmed anything and what they know is kept under wraps, all we can do is speculate and discuss the various rumors that emerge. The last one has to do with villains who may or may not appear in the film.
In a recent Patreon post from industry insider Daniel Richtman, aka DanielRPK, (via ComicBook), the film reportedly featured a couple of familiar faces from the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s past.
“They’re still rewriting the script [Spider-Man 4],” he wrote. “The original version before it was deleted contained Scorpion and Shocker.” Richtman’s post did not indicate which villains would take their place.
Shocker and Scorpion both appeared in the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecomingthe only MCU appearance for both characters.
The first, played by Bokeem Woodbinehe was a member of Adrian Toomes’ crew who was arrested after an encounter with Spider-Man. The latter, played by Better call Saulo star Michele Mandohe is a known criminal who attempted to purchase special weapons from Toomes. He too was arrested; is seen in prison during one of Return home post-credits scenes, vowing to get revenge on Spider-Man.
These characters, as well as many of the major villains in the MCU thus far, have been members of the Sinister Six, which have been the basis for theories that we will have a The six left movie.
But we all know that the last two years have been a major rebuilding period for Marvel, where they’ve scrapped old plans and pivoted in new directions.
So we’ll just have to wait and see what happens with Spider-Man and his future nemeses.
